- Free: trying Virza, small personal reading list, or evaluating the product
- Starter: active individual researcher who wants more capacity and better AI summaries
- Pro: power researcher who needs the full suite of AI analysis, comparison tools, priority processing, and intelligence features
- Team: research lab, department, or group that needs to collaborate on a shared library
- Enterprise: institution that needs compliance, SSO, and heavy-compute AI features
Upgrading your plan
Personal workspaces cannot be upgraded. To access paid plans, create a new workspace from the sidebar and select a plan during setup.
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Compare Plans
- Select your new plan and billing interval (monthly or annual)
- Complete payment via Stripe
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Billing FAQ
How does billing work? Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, with charges at the start of each billing period. Additional billing details, such as discounts or annual savings, are coming soon.
Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancel from Settings > Billing. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
What happens when I downgrade? Your data is preserved. Features exclusive to your previous plan become locked (you’ll see an upgrade prompt instead). Documents over the new plan’s limit become read-only. You can still view and download them, but you cannot upload new ones until you are within the limit.
